Weekend Films is a consortium of four individuals who declare themselves a bunch of creative eccentrics. Yes we do believe that creativity must go along with little bit of (if not more) eccentricity. We with our background in theatre, film, Art, literature, journalism emerge as a new gang in the cultural arena of capital. The Group was evolved after number of informal and formal sittings in and around Indian Coffee House in Delhi. For us, germination was a slow process.

MANOJIT DATTA is a man of many talents who chases rainbows and reinvents dreams. A versatile artist, working as an Art Director in a leading Indian Media Group, who possesses a strong desire to walk through unexplored vistas of digital formats. Although he has shown his class in magazine/graphic designing, but like a true creative person, his aspirations often compels him to look for a new horizon.

PRADEEP DAS is a chameleon-a baharupiyaa. He loves to carry the masks of different persona–innocent seeker, theatre person, poet, baul, film buff, bookworm, rebel spiritual practitioner, playwright, or simply a wanderer. Being a true Geminian, he lives in contradicting beliefs and practices. Pradeep quite often, unknowingly, troubles his family and friends with his diverse shades of eccentricity.

SANJAY JOSHI Enjoys more in strolling leisurely along some uneven mountainous terrains of Himalayas than any other assignment under the sun. As an independent filmmaker, he likes to walk daringly on any dangerous corridor. A nostalgic Allahabadi, a responsible family-man, a devout convener of film movement and above all, a bubbly dude–he is a rare amalgamation of some of the lovable qualities of mankind.

SANJAY PRATAP Spent his childhood in Allahabad. Even today he prefers to visit there in vacations ignoring Kashmir or Switzerland. Inspite of being bitten by loneliness quite often, SP is delightfully innovative in his thinking. A humble and dedicated journalist (a rare combination indeed)-working with a prestigious media organisation of the nation. If somebody comments on his new robe of 'film buff', he unmindfully smiles with his characteristic shyness.
